Trialling the Magic Carpet to date has been very rewarding. I have found it to be a very useful leak detection tool, very robust in its manufacture, simple to operate and easy to interpret when being asked to pinpoint a potential leak after correlation.

The accuracy of this tool in the field of leak detection I found to be very high and far more accurate than a traditional ground-mike or listening stick. Also, when dealing anomalies such as leaks on unknown supplies where one may have traditionally raised work for a potential burst main, this tool was invaluable.

Technicians who witnessed the Carpet being used were impressed by its accuracy and this raised the 'feel good' factor in their confidence of leak detection when the Carpet confirmed leaks that they were submitting for audit.
